New Delhi: Razorpay POS, the offline payments division of a leading fintech company, unveiled ‘Q-Zap’ on Wednesday, a new payment solution aimed at retailers to streamline checkouts and eliminate queues.
Q-Zap is designed to enhance the in-store customer experience by reducing billing time by 40% and potentially saving retailers up to 20% in annual operating costs.
Rahul Kothari, Chief Operating Officer at Razorpay, highlighted, “Q-Zap not only aims to eradicate lengthy checkout lines for customers but also to free up store staff, enabling them to provide personalized customer service such as answering queries or facilitating seamless checkouts.”
The solution enables businesses to collect payments beyond conventional billing counters. Customers can utilize self-checkout kiosks or handheld POS devices integrated with Q-Zap to complete transactions anywhere within the store, eliminating waiting times.
Furthermore, Q-Zap offers straightforward Ready Plug-and-Play integrations with over 120 billing partners, enabling rapid deployment within four days, compared to the industry norm of four weeks.
The integration seamlessly incorporates Razorpay POS hardware and software, supporting multiple payment methods including UPI, credit cards, and debit cards across major networks like Visa and Mastercard, ensuring swift and efficient checkouts.
