Congress Names Telangana Leaders A Revanth Reddy and Bhatti Vikramarka as Star Campaigners for Maharashtra and Jharkhand Elections
Hyderabad: The Congress party has announced the selection of Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka as its star campaigners for the upcoming Assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. This decision was confirmed through a campaign list released by the Congress high command.
Chief Minister Reddy is set to spearhead rallies in Maharashtra, where he will campaign for the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance. This coalition includes Congress, the Sharad Pawar faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), and the Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction of Shiv Sena. His leadership is expected to bolster the MVA’s efforts as it seeks to strengthen its presence in the state.
Meanwhile, Bhatti Vikramarka will focus his campaign efforts in Jharkhand, supporting candidates from the INDIA bloc, which comprises Congress, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), and various Left parties.
Notably, Reddy and Vikramarka are the only Congress star campaigners representing Telangana in this crucial electoral battle, underscoring their importance in the party’s strategy to engage voters in these key states. As both leaders prepare for their campaigns, their performances will be closely monitored by party officials and supporters alike as Congress aims to make significant gains in the upcoming elections.
