Samsung Launches Galaxy F55 5G Smartphone with 50MP Camera in India
Samsung unveiled its latest addition to the Galaxy F series on Monday, introducing the Galaxy F55 5G smartphone featuring a 50MP camera.
Available in three storage configurations — 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB — the Galaxy F55 5G can be purchased on Flipkart, Samsung.com, and select retail outlets, starting at Rs 26,999. The device is offered in Apricot Crush and Raisin Black color options.
Raju Pullan, Senior Vice-President, MX Division, Samsung India, highlighted the phone’s design innovation: “With the Galaxy F55 5G, Samsung introduces a sophisticated vegan leather back panel adorned with a saddle stitch pattern, a first for the F series. The golden-hued camera deco complements its premium aesthetics.”
Featuring a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED+ display with 1000 bits of brightness, the device weighs 180 gm and measures 7.8mm in width, ensuring ergonomic comfort during use.
The smartphone boasts a 120Hz refresh rate for seamless social media browsing. Its camera setup includes a 50MP ‘No Shake Camera’ with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for high-resolution, steady videos and photos, along with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. A 50MP front camera enhances selfie capabilities.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen1 processor, the Galaxy F55 5G supports efficient multitasking. It houses a 5000mAh battery with 45W super-fast charging capabilities.
