After the critically acclaimed success of Committee Kurrollu in 2024, Pink Elephant Pictures is now gearing up for its next cinematic venture. The debut film, which resonated with audiences across demographics and earned praise for promoting national integration and social upliftment, recently won top honors at the prestigious Gaddar Awards, including Best Feature Film and Best Debut Director for Yadu Vamsi.
Building on that momentum, the production house is now set to begin shooting for its second feature, directed by Manasa Sharma in her directorial debut for the big screen. The film stars the promising young actor Sangeeth Shobhan, known for his performances in Mad and Mad Square, marking his first solo lead role in a theatrical release.
Starring opposite him is Nayana Sarika, who has gained recognition through hit films like Aay and Ka, and digital projects such as Zee5’s Hello World and Sony Liv’s Bench Life. The ensemble cast also includes seasoned performers like Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, Getup Seenu, Sukhwinder Singh, and Aruna Bhikshu.
Director Manasa Sharma, who previously showcased her writing and directing talent in web series like Oka Chinna Family Story (Zee5) and Bench Life (Sony Liv), brings her storytelling prowess to the silver screen with this film. The screenplay and dialogues are co-written by Mahesh Uppala and Sharma.
The film is being produced by Niharika Konidela under the Pink Elephant Pictures banner, with Anudeep Dev scoring the music. Manyam Ramesh serves as the executive producer, with Surendra Kumar Naidu and Phani Kandukuri managing publicity under Beyond Media, and Ticket Factory handling marketing responsibilities.
With pre-production underway at a brisk pace, expectations are high that this film will continue Pink Elephant Pictures’ streak of delivering meaningful, crowd-pleasing cinema.
