SBI Unaffected by Microsoft Global Outage, Confirms Chairman
State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest lender, reassured customers on Friday that its systems remain unaffected amidst the widespread Microsoft global outage.
Chairman Dinesh Khara stated, “We are all fine,” in response to queries regarding the impact of the global service disruption.
Microsoft users globally, including many in India, experienced significant disruptions across various services, as reported by outage tracking website Downdetector. The outage affected flights, banks, media outlets, and companies worldwide throughout the day.
Despite ongoing disruptions, Microsoft reported gradual restoration efforts to address issues impacting access to Microsoft 365 apps and services.
