“Mumbai: Renowned actor Shah Rukh Khan, recently recovering from a heat stroke, departed for Chennai from the Mumbai airport earlier today, accompanied by his children Suhana and AbRam, along with his sister Shehnaz. His elder son Aryan was also seen at the airport.
The Khan family’s trip to Chennai is to attend the IPL final match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Chepauk Stadium. Throughout this season, Shah Rukh Khan has been actively supporting KKR, attending matches and engaging with players from both teams, showcasing his dedication as a team co-owner.
His spirited presence during KKR’s Qualifier 1 match against SRH significantly boosted the morale of the team. Unfortunately, a recent heatwave in Ahmedabad led to the actor falling ill and necessitating a brief hospital stay. Fortunately, he was discharged after a few hours.
While Shah Rukh Khan has not personally commented on his health, his manager Pooja Dadlani recently updated fans via Instagram, expressing gratitude for their support and conveying that he is recovering well. Pooja’s Instagram story read, “To all of Mr. Khan’s fans and well-wishers – he is doing well. Thank you for your love, prayers, and concern.”
During his hospitalization in Ahmedabad, Shah Rukh Khan was visited by his KKR business partners Juhi Chawla and Jay Mehta, reflecting the strong bond within the team’s leadership.”
