Chennai: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) co-owner and renowned actor Shah Rukh Khan exuberantly celebrated after his team clinched the Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy for the third time. From performing cartwheels to posing with the trophy, Khan’s joy was palpable.
Shah Rukh Khan’s wife, Gauri Khan, shared a celebratory picture on Instagram featuring herself and her husband, both beaming with joy while holding the IPL trophy. She captioned the image, “Winners @kkriders.”
SRK’s manager, Pooja Dadlani, provided fans with a glimpse of the post-match celebrations. The first picture showed Shah Rukh with Gauri and their children, Suhana Khan, Aryan Khan, and AbRam, along with Shanaya and Ananya Panday, joyfully posing on the field. Another photo included Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta joining Shah Rukh for a celebratory moment.
Following the match, Shah Rukh Khan celebrated with each team member, even kissing mentor Gautam Gambhir’s forehead, acknowledging Gambhir’s significant contribution to KKR’s success this year. The celebrations began at the same Chepauk ground where KKR had lifted their maiden title in 2012 under Gambhir’s leadership.
The victory in the IPL 2024 final set the KKR camp in a jubilant mood. Shah Rukh Khan rushed to the field to congratulate his team on their decisive win, hugging nearly all the players and displaying his affection for the team. His celebratory cartwheel was captured and shared by Suhana Khan on her Instagram stories, captioned “mood.”
KKR secured the IPL 2024 title with a commanding all-round performance against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The KKR bowlers restricted the free-scoring SRH batting line-up to 113 runs. In response, KKR chased down the target in just 10.3 overs with eight wickets in hand.
