Kolkata: Renowned actor Shah Rukh Khan’s deep-rooted passion for cricket has been widely acknowledged. Throughout the ongoing IPL season, he has actively displayed his fervent enthusiasm for the sport.
From vocally supporting his team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), in the stands to engaging personally with players from both sides, Shah Rukh Khan has consistently demonstrated his commitment as a dedicated co-owner.
In an intriguing turn of events, Shah Rukh Khan allocated time from his busy schedule to attend KKR’s training session preceding their match against the Delhi Capitals (DC) at the historic Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata on Sunday. Accompanied by his son AbRam, he provided the young enthusiast with an insight into the rigorous training regimen undertaken by the players.
Adding an element of amusement to the practice session, Shah Rukh Khan indulged his inner “cricketer” persona, delighting fans with his batting skills as captured in videos shared by KKR’s social media team and the SRK Universe fan club.
However, the highlight of the training session was AbRam’s involvement. In several viral videos, AbRam was seen bowling to Rinku Singh, a key player for KKR, evoking nostalgia among fans who marveled at the young boy’s growth.
