Singapore Govt Honours Heroes Who Rescued Pawan Kalyan’s Son in Fire Accident
Mark Shankar Pawanovich, the younger son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan, was recently injured in a fire accident at a school in Singapore. Thankfully, he is now recovering well at home. In a significant gesture of recognition, the Government of Singapore has formally honoured those who courageously rescued Mark and others during the incident.
According to official sources, the fire broke out on April 8, trapping sixteen children and six adults on the third floor of the building. As thick smoke engulfed the area and children cried out for help, members of the Indian expatriate community sprang into action. Four Indian workers, in particular, responded heroically without regard for their own safety, managing to rescue all those trapped inside.
Recognising their bravery, the Singapore Government felicitated these individuals for their selfless actions. Officials praised them for their prompt response and courage, which prevented the incident from turning into a major tragedy.
Mark Shankar Pawanovich sustained injuries during the accident but has since made a safe return home and is continuing his recovery. His uncle, Megastar Chiranjeevi, took to social media to thank fans and well-wishers who offered prayers and support during the challenging time.
Fans of Pawan Kalyan also expressed immense relief and joy over Mark’s recovery, commending the brave rescuers whose efforts ensured the safety of all those affected.
