Hyderabad: The Girls Islamic Organization (GIO) will hold a ‘Stand in Solidarity with Palestine’ rally on Wednesday, June 12, starting at 7 pm near Exhibition Grounds, Nampally.
A post by the organization on X stated, “Join a powerful solidarity gathering to stand with our resilient brothers and sisters in Gaza.”
Recently, locals, along with the Disha Students’ Organization and Naujawan Bharat Sabha, protested against Israel and in support of Palestine at Sundarayya Park, Bagh Lingampally, on Sunday, June 3. The protest was organized in response to the killings in Rafah.
Since October 7 of last year, over 37,000 Palestinians, many of whom were children, have been killed. Approximately 84,494 people have been injured, and over 10,000 are missing.
