New Delhi: Renowned sports figures including cricket legend Virat Kohli, 2011 World Cup hero Yuvraj Singh, and former football star Bhaichung Bhutia joined in lauding Sunil Chhetri’s illustrious career after the iconic India striker announced his retirement from international football on Thursday.
Chhetri, the long-serving captain of the national team, revealed his decision to step away from international football following the FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Kuwait in Kolkata on June 6.
