Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s debut production venture under her TraLaLa Moving Pictures banner, Subham, has already captured attention with its intriguing teaser, offering a perfect blend of horror and comedy. This highly anticipated film, set for release on May 9th, is geared up to be a thrilling, laugh-filled riot that promises to entertain audiences of all ages.
The recently launched theatrical trailer opens with a group of husbands discussing how they control their wives. The scene then shifts to a newlywed couple’s first night together, where the groom, initially portrayed as a mild-mannered man, attempts to assert his dominance as the “alpha male.” However, the situation takes an unexpected twist when the bride, seemingly reserved and quiet, becomes captivated by a TV serial, revealing a completely different side to her personality.
With its unique storyline, Subham cleverly explores the theme of serial addiction among women and ties it into a horror-comedy narrative. The trailer sets the stage for an interesting turn of events where the men in the village must tackle a peculiar problem — one that forms the crux of the story.
