Samantha’s Debut Production ‘Subham’ Teaser Promises a Thrilling Comedy Horror Experience
Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s debut production venture under her TraLaLa Moving Pictures banner, Subham, has already captured attention with its intriguing teaser, offering a perfect blend of horror and comedy. This highly anticipated film, set for release on May 9th, is geared up to be a thrilling, laugh-filled riot that promises to entertain audiences of all ages.
The recently launched theatrical trailer opens with a group of husbands discussing how they control their wives. The scene then shifts to a newlywed couple’s first night together, where the groom, initially portrayed as a mild-mannered man, attempts to assert his dominance as the “alpha male.” However, the situation takes an unexpected twist when the bride, seemingly reserved and quiet, becomes captivated by a TV serial, revealing a completely different side to her personality.
With its unique storyline, Subham cleverly explores the theme of serial addiction among women and ties it into a horror-comedy narrative. The trailer sets the stage for an interesting turn of events where the men in the village must tackle a peculiar problem — one that forms the crux of the story.
The trailer also features a thrilling cameo from Samantha herself, which adds an exciting layer of intrigue to the film. The film’s family-friendly narrative is aimed at delivering both laughter and chills, ensuring a wholesome entertainment experience.
Directed by Praveen Kandregula, with a script by Vasanth Maringanti, Subham stars Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, Shalini Kondepudi, and Vamshidhar Goud in key roles. The music is composed by Clinton Cerejo, with Vivek Sagar handling the background score, and Mridul Sujit Sen providing the cinematography.
Subham is slated to release worldwide in theatres on May 9th, making it an exciting summer treat for moviegoers.
