Superstar Rajinikanth Receives UAE Golden Visa in Abu Dhabi
Chennai: Superstar Rajinikanth was awarded the UAE’s prestigious Golden Visa by the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT), as confirmed by his office on Thursday.
During a ceremony at the DCT headquarters in Abu Dhabi, Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of DCT, presented the Emirates ID to the renowned actor.
Expressing gratitude, Rajinikanth remarked, “I am deeply honored to receive the UAE Golden Visa from the Abu Dhabi government. My sincere thanks to the Abu Dhabi government and my dear friend Yusuf Ali MA, CMD of Lulu Group, for their support and facilitation.”
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister for Tolerance, also paid a visit to Rajinikanth at his residence.
During his visit to Abu Dhabi, the Tamil superstar toured the newly constructed BAPS Hindu Mandir and the iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
Rajinikanth recently concluded filming for his upcoming movie ‘Vettaiyan’.
