Recently, Andhra Pradesh’s political landscape has seen increased discussion around Jr NTR, despite the actor’s stated disinterest in politics. In a notable development, SVSN Varma of Pithapuram, who played a key role in Pawan Kalyan’s local campaign, was questioned about Jr NTR’s potential involvement with TDP.
Known for his candid demeanor, Varma offered intriguing insights into Jr NTR’s hypothetical role within the party.
“If Jr NTR decides to step away from his film career and actively engage with TDP without reservation, I would personally advocate for his inclusion within the party ranks. His commitment and contributions would need to be demonstrated through dedicated party work,” commented Varma.
He further emphasized, “Drawing comparisons between NTR and Lokesh purely for superficial reasons serves little purpose. Lokesh has been the driving force behind Telugu Desam Party for the past decade, spearheading membership drives and bolstering grassroots support. Consequently, within the party hierarchy, Lokesh holds a prominent position due to his unwavering dedication.”
