TDP MLA Kolikapudi Srinivasarao Faces Humiliation During CM Naidu’s Visit to Nandigama
Amidst Growing Controversy, TDP MLA Kolikapudi Srinivasarao’s Relationship with Party Leadership in Question
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA Kolikapudi Srinivasarao, representing Tiruvuru, reportedly experienced a public display of humiliation during Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s recent visit to the Nandigama constituency in NTR district. The incident has raised questions about his standing within the party and his ongoing leadership issues in his constituency.
The Chief Minister’s visit, which saw the gathering of several ministers, MLAs, and party leaders at the helipad to welcome him, turned into an awkward moment for Kolikapudi Srinivasarao. As Naidu arrived, the MLA greeted him with folded hands, but the Chief Minister reportedly ignored his greeting and instead acknowledged another leader nearby by patting him on the shoulder. At the same time, women leaders from the TDP were also seen conversing with the Chief Minister, further intensifying the situation.
Despite Kolikapudi Srinivasarao’s repeated attempts to engage the Chief Minister, he allegedly received no response. As other leaders stepped forward to interact with Naidu, Srinivasarao, visibly dejected, reportedly withdrew and stood aside. This public display of disregard has sparked speculation that Naidu may be displeased with the MLA, leading to concerns within the party about his future.
Kolikapudi Srinivasarao’s leadership in the Tiruvuru constituency has long been a subject of internal strife, with opposition from fellow TDP leaders. Reports suggest that several party members have lodged complaints with the party high command regarding his conduct, further straining his relationship with the leadership. In light of these developments, the party leadership appears to be upset with his actions, and this latest incident may be an indication of the growing rift between Srinivasarao and the TDP leadership.
The unfolding situation has put Kolikapudi Srinivasarao in a difficult position, with questions surrounding his future role in the party and whether his leadership in Tiruvuru will continue to be supported by the TDP high command.
