BRS Accuses Telangana CM Revanth Reddy of Fraudulent Investment Deals in US

Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has accused Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of engaging in fraudulent investment deals during his ongoing trip to the United States. The party has raised concerns about the legitimacy of the agreements signed to attract investment to Telangana.

Former BRS social media in-charge Manne Krishank alleged that an investment agreement with Walsh Karra Holdings, valued at Rs 839 crore and purportedly intended to benefit Telangana women, was questionable. Krishank noted that Walsh Karra Holdings was incorporated only four months ago, with two directors each holding fifty shares, and lacked financial statements, casting doubt on its credibility.

Krishank further claimed that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had previously signed a deal with Godi India, a company alleged to be fraudulent, during his visit to Davos. Additionally, he criticized the inflated cost estimates for the Musi project, now pegged at Rs 1.5 lakh crore, and highlighted a lookout notice issued against Meinhardt, the company managing the project.

The BRS has also accused the government of failing to deliver on its promise of Rs 2,500 under the Mahalakshmi scheme for Telangana women, questioning the integrity of investments purportedly aimed at women’s welfare.

Krishank concluded by urging that any agreements made by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy should be with companies that have a proven track record of reliability and transparency.
