Former BRS MLA Theegala Krishna Reddy to Join TDP, Aims for NTR’s Governance Revival
Hyderabad: Former Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA Theegala Krishna Reddy announced on Monday, October 7, that he will be joining the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). This announcement followed a meeting with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at his residence in Hyderabad.
In a media interaction, Reddy expressed his commitment to reestablishing Naidu as the chief minister of the state. “It is my goal to have Chandrababu Naidu back as the chief minister of the state,” he stated.
Reddy, who previously served as the mayor of Hyderabad, was joined by fellow BRS MLAs Malla Reddy and Mari Rajshekhar Reddy during the announcement. He emphasized the need to revive Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s (NTR) style of governance in Telangana, saying, “Today, I met Naidu and discussed how we could bring back NTR’s governance to the state.”
Reddy credited Naidu for the significant development of Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Cyberabad, reiterating his determination to restore the TDP’s former glory in the region.
