Veteran Filmmaker B. Narsing Rao Appointed Chairman of Telangana’s Gaddar Awards Committee
Hyderabad: The Telangana government has appointed veteran filmmaker B. Narsing Rao as the chairman of the newly established committee tasked with designing the Gaddar Awards. This prestigious initiative aims to honor excellence in filmmaking, with the committee responsible for formulating the awards’ modalities, rules, regulations, and branding elements, including the nomenclature and logo.
The Telangana Film Television and Theatre Development Corporation issued the government order for this committee. Tollywood director Dil Raju has been named vice-chairman of the committee, bringing his extensive industry experience to the role.
The committee also includes a distinguished group of advisory members: K. Raghavendra Rao, Ande Sree, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Allu Aravind, Gummadi Vennela, Tanikella Bharani, D. Suresh Babu, K. Chandra Bose, R. Narayana Murthy, Vandematharam Srinivas, Allani Sridhar, Sana Yadi Reddy, Harish Shankar, and Yeldandi Venu. This diverse panel of experts will provide valuable insights and guidance as the committee works to establish the Gaddar Awards.
