Hyderabad Government Grants Retirement Benefits to Anganwadi Teachers and Helpers
In a significant development benefiting Anganwadi teachers and helpers across government-run pre-primary schools, the State government of Hyderabad has announced a one-time retirement benefit of Rs 2 lakh for Anganwadi teachers and Rs 1 lakh for Anganwadi helpers upon their retirement.
The announcement came during the “Amma Maata Anganwadi Baata” program held in Rehmath Nagar locality, Hyderabad, where Women and Child Welfare Minister Seethakka assured that official orders for these benefits would be issued shortly.
Minister Seethakka also highlighted that the State government is contemplating the introduction of a uniform for children attending Anganwadi schools, aiming to enhance their educational experience and overall welfare.
