Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced the results of TG TET 2024 today, revealing that 2,86,381 candidates applied for the examination.
Among them, 85,996 candidates appeared for the Paper-1 exam, with 57,725 qualifying. In the Paper-2 exam, 1,50,491 candidates participated, with 51,443 meeting the qualification criteria.
The qualifying percentages stand at 67.13% for Paper-1, marking a 30.24% increase from 2023, and 34.18% for Paper-2, reflecting an 18.88% rise compared to the previous year.

Earlier, the Election Commission had rejected the state government’s decision to reduce the TET application fee during the election code enforcement period. In response, the government has offered relief measures: non-qualifying applicants for TET-2024 can apply for the next TET exam without paying the fee, and those who qualified are exempt from fees to apply for the DSC exam once.
