Thaman Gives Update on Pawan Kalyan’s ‘OG’; First Single ‘Firestorm’ Ready for Release
Despite no active shooting underway, the buzz surrounding Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming action drama ‘OG’ continues to stay strong. The film, directed by Sujeeth, has now grabbed attention with composer S. Thaman dropping a key update regarding the music.
Thaman revealed that the first single from the film, titled ‘Firestorm’, has already been completed. Interestingly, popular Tamil actor Simbu has lent his voice to the high-octane number, which reportedly turned out very well. However, the team is waiting for the film’s shoot to resume before releasing the song to maximize its impact and sustain the hype.
“There’s no point releasing the single now. Once the shoot resumes, it will boost the buzz even more,” Thaman reportedly said, backing the strategic delay. A glimpse of the song featured in the teaser had previously created a sensation online, raising anticipation among fans.
Currently, most of the film’s shoot is completed, but fresh schedules are on hold as the team waits for Pawan Kalyan’s availability. The actor, who is deeply involved in political and family commitments, has been unable to allot dates. The makers of ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’, another of his upcoming films, are facing a similar situation, with a few portions of filming still pending.
Meanwhile, fans are hopeful for a swift return to sets. The production team remains confident that once shooting resumes, the film will be wrapped up quickly.
‘OG’ stars Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead, alongside a powerful supporting cast including Emraan Hashmi, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, Prakash Raj, Harish Uthaman, and Shaam. The film is being produced under DVV Entertainment, the banner behind the global blockbuster ‘RRR’.
The release date remains unannounced, but with music updates and teaser impact still holding strong, ‘OG’ remains one of the most anticipated Telugu films in the pipeline.
