Naga Chaitanya reunites with director Chandoo Mondeti for their third collaboration, presenting a rustic love story infused with nationalistic themes titled “Thandel.” Sai Pallavi joins the cast as the leading lady, marking their second on-screen pairing.
Director Chandoo Mondeti, known for the Pan-India success of “Karthikeya 2,” is helming “Thandel” with great prestige. Naga Chaitanya’s transformation for his rustic role, coupled with his captivating screen presence showcased in the teaser, has garnered widespread acclaim.
With the film generating positive buzz, especially after the gripping teaser release, the production team has secured lucrative deals for both theatrical and non-theatrical rights. Notably, Netflix has acquired the digital streaming rights for all languages at a staggering amount exceeding Rs 40 crore, marking the largest deal to date for Yuvasamrat Naga Chaitanya.
Presented by Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts, the film is being lavishly produced by Bunny Vasu. Renowned composer Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for this high-budget project, which stands as one of Naga Chaitanya’s most significant ventures yet.
