A speeding car collided with a tiger, leaving its passengers shaken by the unexpected encounter. The incident occurred on the Nellore-Mumbai highway near Kadirinayudupalle in Marripadu mandal of Sripotti Sriramulu district.
Five individuals from Badvelu were en route to Nellore when a tiger abruptly crossed the road in the forested area of Kadirinayudupalle. The car struck the tiger, dragging it for some distance before the driver, Srinivasulu, managed to brake. The tiger sustained serious injuries to its legs and fled into the nearby forest.
All five passengers were unharmed but deeply distressed by the incident. The front of the car was significantly damaged. Forest department personnel arrived promptly to investigate the accident and planned a combing operation in the forest area. The movement of the tiger has caused concern among the forest villages of Marripadu mandal.
