In a striking show of bipartisan recognition, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday applauded AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi for exposing Pakistan’s deceptive propaganda following India’s Operation Sindoor.
Owaisi, part of an all-party delegation visiting Kuwait, took a sharp dig at Pakistan’s leadership, calling out their blunder with a witty remark: “It takes brains to copy things properly.” Sharing a video clip of Owaisi’s remarks on social media, Rijiju commented in Hindi, “Pakistan ki toh poll hi khol di” (You exposed Pakistan to the core), highlighting the MP’s scathing critique.
The spotlight was on a photograph that Pakistan Army Chief recently presented as evidence of a military ‘victory’ over India. Owaisi quickly debunked the image, revealing it to be from a 2019 Chinese military drill—not a recent Pakistani operation as claimed.
Labeling Pakistan’s top brass as “stupid jokers,” Owaisi slammed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir for hiding behind a fabricated symbol to save face. This so-called “victory memento” was presented at a high-profile event attended by key figures including Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Deputy PM Ishaq Dar. Owaisi stated, “Yesterday, the Pakistan Army chief showed this photo to their PM in front of the President and the National Assembly Speaker. They want to compete with India but can’t even get their facts straight.”
He further mocked Pakistan’s leadership for their habit of copying without creativity or accuracy. “We used to hear that ‘copying requires brains.’ These fools don’t even have that,” Owaisi quipped, underscoring Pakistan’s repeated failures in the propaganda war.
This incident is not isolated. Earlier, Pakistan’s Deputy PM Ishaq Dar embarrassed himself by sharing a fabricated article from a UK newspaper to praise the Pakistani Air Force—an error quickly exposed by Pakistani media, casting a global spotlight on the country’s misinformation tactics.
Currently in Kuwait as part of India’s diplomatic outreach following the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor, Owaisi’s candid remarks and Rijiju’s endorsement signal India’s firm stance against Pakistan’s false narratives and reaffirm the commitment to exposing the truth on the international stage.
