Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Denounces Opposition Parties
In a vigorous critique leveled against opposition parties on Tuesday, May 7, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath characterized the Congress, the Samajwadi Party, and the entire INDIA bloc as anti-Hindu, anti-Ram, and supportive of terrorism.
Speaking at his official residence before the media, the chief minister lambasted statements made by SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav and RJD chief Lalu Prasad, asserting, “These are individuals who assail Ram devotees, cast doubt on the existence of Lord Ram, and challenge his divine authority. Anticipating their respect for India’s faith, national heroes, and reverence for esteemed freedom fighters who played pivotal roles in our independence struggle is futile.”
Adityanath further contended that the Congress, Samajwadi Party, DMK, RJD, and National Conference have all opposed the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, branding them as adversaries of Hindus and the Sanatan faith, and proponents of appeasement policies contrary to the ideals of Lord Ram.
He highlighted the obstructionist tactics employed by members of the Congress and the INDIA bloc to delay the resolution of the Ram Temple case in Ayodhya, which he credited to the expeditious progress achieved under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
Under Modi’s guidance, Adityanath asserted, a grand temple was constructed in Ayodhya, attracting millions of devotees from across the nation and beyond. He accused members of the Congress-SP and INDIA bloc of consistently aligning with those opposed to Lord Ram.
Addressing remarks made by Ram Gopal Yadav, the Chief Minister condemned attempts to exploit India’s faith for political gain and challenge the divine authority of Lord Ram, warning of historical repercussions for those who dare to question divine authority.
Adityanath further characterized opposition statements as disrespectful to the Sanatan faith and millions of Ram devotees, labeling them as provocative and aimed at exploiting a segment of society for electoral gain.
He highlighted instances where the BJP opposed suggestions of religious-based reservations, emphasizing the party’s commitment to secular principles.
