YSRCP Leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi Hospitalized Again Amid Health Complications in Custody
Vallabhaneni Vamsi, former Gannavaram MLA and YSR Congress Party leader currently in judicial custody over the fake housing patta case, has once again been hospitalized following a sudden deterioration in his health.
Authorities transferred Vamsi to the Government General Hospital (GGH) in Guntur after he reportedly developed breathing difficulties. According to hospital sources, the neurology department carried out a series of diagnostic tests to evaluate his condition.
In an official medical bulletin, the GGH Superintendent revealed that Vamsi is suffering from seizures and experiences interrupted breathing during sleep, a condition suspected to be sleep apnea. “A comprehensive sleep study is essential to determine the exact nature of his condition and to begin targeted treatment,” the Superintendent explained.
However, the hospital currently lacks the specialized equipment required to conduct a sleep test. As a result, doctors have recommended that Vamsi be referred to a better-equipped facility for further evaluation.
Following initial treatment and stabilization, authorities have since transferred Vamsi back to the Vijayawada Central Jail. Officials say his condition will continue to be monitored, and arrangements may be made for the sleep test at an alternate location if deemed necessary by medical staff.
This development adds another layer of complexity to the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding Vamsi, who remains a central figure in the high-profile land scam investigation.
