R.K. Roja Criticizes AP Coalition Government for Failing to Deliver on Promises
Former Andhra Pradesh Minister and YSRCP leader R.K. Roja has sharply criticized the state coalition government, accusing it of failing to deliver any benefits to the public in the past six months. In a strong statement, Roja claimed the government has focused more on targeting YSRCP leaders and obstructing their agricultural lands instead of fulfilling its electoral promises, such as the much-discussed “Super Six” scheme.
Roja accused the government of harassing YSRCP leaders by filing false cases and using intimidation tactics to create fear. However, she made it clear that the YSRCP leadership, led by party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, would not be cowed by such tactics. “Fear is not in our leader’s blood. As his soldiers, we fear no one,” she declared, adding that the party would continue to challenge the government’s actions despite these efforts.
Reaffirming her commitment to her party and constituency, Roja assured that she would always be available to support YSRCP workers in her Nagari constituency. She emphasized that during YSRCP’s five years in power, there were no wrongdoings, contrasting it with the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who she accused of failing the public both during his previous 14-year rule and now in the coalition government.
Roja went on to accuse the coalition government of securing its position through electoral fraud and tampering with EVMs. She warned that the so-called “honeymoon period” for the government was over, promising to hold them accountable for what she termed as “anti-people” policies. Furthermore, she cautioned officials against complying with any unlawful orders from TDP leaders, stating that she would file harassment cases against anyone engaging in illegal activities.
