Actress Aishwarya Arjun, daughter of renowned actor Arjun, married actor Umapathy on June 10 at the Anjanasuta Sri Yoganjaneyaswamy Mandir in Chennai. The ceremony, held between 9 and 10 am, was attended by numerous film industry celebrities.
Umapathy is the son of Tamil comedian Thambi Ramaiah. The bride looked stunning in a red saree, while the groom donned a traditional cream-colored panchekattu. The wedding festivities commenced with the Haldi ceremony on June 7, followed by a Sangeeth on June 8. The couple will host a reception on June 14 at The Leela Palace in Chennai.
Aishwarya Arjun, who debuted in the Tamil film “Pattathu Yanaai” in 2013, has had a brief and relatively unremarkable career in films, with her most recent appearances in 2018. She was set to make her Telugu debut in a film directed by her father, opposite Vishwak Sen, but the project was indefinitely shelved due to creative differences between Vishwak and Arjun.
