Natural Star Nani is all set to continue his successful streak with the upcoming film HIT: The 3rd Case, the third installment in the HIT Universe. The film’s pre-release event was held on April 27, 2025, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, featuring a star-studded lineup including director SS Rajamouli, actors Adivi Sesh, Vishwak Sen, and others.
A Glimpse into the Film
Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, HIT: The 3rd Case follows Nani’s character, SP Arjun Sarkaar, as he investigates a series of gruesome murders in Jammu and Kashmir. The film promises to deliver a gripping crime thriller experience, with Nani portraying a more intense and fierce role compared to his previous performances. The movie also stars Srinidhi Shetty, known for her role in KGF, as the female lead.
Behind the Scenes: Nani’s Dedication
Director Sailesh Kolanu shared an incident from the shoot that highlighted Nani’s dedication to his craft. During filming, a fire accidentally fell on Nani’s hair, slightly burning it. Despite the injury, Nani insisted on continuing the shoot, stating, “Let’s go for the shot.” Later, while filming, the camera head hit him, causing him to bleed. He waited for the blood to clot and carried on shooting. That same night, he flew to Delhi for treatment, and by the next day, he was back on set in Kashmir. Kolanu described the film as “very honest,” acknowledging its intense violence.
Addressing Concerns: Nani’s Perspective
The film has sparked discussions regarding its portrayal of violence. Nani addressed these concerns, stating, “There are two kinds of violence. One kind disturbs us, but the violence in HIT 3 is something you will enjoy.” He emphasized that the film’s intense scenes are integral to its narrative and are crafted to engage the audience.
Rajamouli’s Praise and Expectations
SS Rajamouli, the chief guest at the event, lauded director Sailesh Kolanu for his maturity and vision in creating the HIT franchise. He expressed confidence that Kolanu would exceed expectations with HIT: The 3rd Case.
