YS Bharathi, known for her active involvement in her husband Jagan’s political campaigns in Pulivendula, maintains her engagement in the current electoral period by continuing to support Jagan through campaigning efforts in the region. Additionally, Bharathi has recently begun making political statements, marking a departure from her previous stance.
Responding to criticism from opposition parties regarding what they term as ‘Jagan Dramas’, Bharathi, for the first time, addressed these allegations. She asserted that Jagan had no intention of orchestrating any spectacle involving stone-pelting incidents. Bharathi expressed disappointment at the opposition’s exploitation of the matter for political gain.
Highlighting Jagan’s restrained response to the incident, Bharathi emphasized that rather than seeking sympathy through dramatic displays, Jagan quietly sought medical treatment aboard his campaign bus and continued with his schedule. She challenged critics of labeling the incident as a sympathy ploy, suggesting they experience being in the line of fire themselves before passing judgment.
While the opposition has moved on from the incident, Bharathi remains vocal, urging figures like Chandrababu and Pawan to experience similar situations before commenting on Jagan’s ordeal. Addressing speculations about her own political aspirations, Bharathi, the head of Sakshi Media, asserts her disinterest in active politics, preferring instead to maintain a private lifestyle.
