YSR Congress Party Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy Plans Statewide Tour, Criticizes TDP Government
YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced plans to embark on a statewide tour after Sankranti to directly engage with the public. In his address, Jagan called on party members to prepare for direct struggles on behalf of the people, citing the state’s current governance under Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu as the catalyst for this action.
“I did not expect that we would have to go to the people so soon,” Jagan said, underscoring his dissatisfaction with Naidu’s leadership. He criticized the TDP government for its alleged exploitation, claiming there were no promised initiatives such as the “Super Six” or “Super Seven” schemes.
Jagan further stated that YSRCP has already initiated protests on behalf of farmers and announced another demonstration planned for December 27 against the rising electricity bills. These actions, he stated, reflect the party’s commitment to addressing the public’s concerns.
Commenting on the speculation around simultaneous elections (Jamili elections) in 2027, Jagan dismissed the rumors, attributing them to growing anxiety within Naidu’s camp. “As time passes, his fear grows, but we are advancing with double the enthusiasm,” Jagan asserted.
Highlighting the achievements of his party’s governance, Jagan pointed to the significant welfare measures the YSRCP government has implemented, calling them unprecedented in the nation’s history. “Regardless of when elections are held, we will emerge victorious,” he declared, urging party members to maintain their integrity in the face of opposition challenges.
