Telugu Desam Party Chief Reveals Shocking Jail Experience in ABN Interview
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Chandrababu Naidu recently shared a startling revelation during an interview with ABN, streamed last night, that has garnered widespread attention.
Naidu disclosed that there was an alleged attempt to harm him during his imprisonment last year.
“As a Chief Minister, I meticulously scrutinize every document that crosses my desk to avoid any errors. However, Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy sought to gratify his ego by distorting facts to have me arrested. Upon entering jail, I found myself without a bed, a commode, or even a chair in my room,” Naidu recounted.
“I was the sole occupant of the barracks, and every inconvenience I endured was orchestrated by higher officials. Jagan derived sadistic pleasure from my predicament. There were even whispers of a potential attempt on my life through poisoning. Despite facing such adversity, I remained resolute,” he continued.
Reflecting on his time in confinement, Naidu emphasized that it shed light on what he described as the “psychotic” nature of Jaganmohan Reddy’s leadership. He declared that this experience fueled his resolve to end what he perceives as misrule.
Regarding electoral prospects, Naidu expressed unwavering confidence in TDP’s victory, stating, “TDP will unquestionably return to power, without a shadow of a doubt.”
