Hyderabad: Dharmapuri MLA Adluri Lakshman Kumar Asserts Land Ownership Amid Dispute with Medchal MLA Ch Malla Reddy and Malkajgiri MLA Rajsekhar Reddy
Dharmapuri MLA Adluri Lakshman Kumar, embroiled in a contentious land dispute with Medchal MLA Ch Malla Reddy and Malkajgiri MLA Rajsekhar Reddy, has stated that he, along with six others, purchased the disputed 4,000 square yards of land from one Sudama in 2015.
Lakshman Kumar highlighted that he obtained an injunction order against Malla Reddy and his family members from a Medchal court in 2016. Despite this, Malla Reddy has not filed a counter to have the order vacated.
“Malla Reddy claims to be the most honest and generous person, stating that he acquired the land through hard work. Let him explain to the government how he amassed 2,000 acres,” Kumar remarked, emphasizing that he and others attempted to resolve the matter amicably with Malla Reddy, who did not respond.
Kumar criticized Malla Reddy for blaming the Congress government for the land dispute. He pointed out that Malla Reddy and his supporters removed a boundary fence around the 2.2-acre disputed land in survey number 82 near Suchitra on Saturday.
Following this incident, Hyderabad police detained Malla Reddy, his son-in-law MLA Rajsekhar Reddy, and other supporters as tensions escalated at the disputed land site.
