Hyderabad: Following the conclusion of the UPSC Prelims Exam 2024, unofficial cut-offs and answer keys have been released by reputable coaching centers, indicating a potential increase compared to last year.
According to analyses by leading institutes such as Vajiram and Ravi, the expected cut-off for general category aspirants ranges between 95-100 marks. StudyIQ, another esteemed online platform for UPSC preparation, forecasts similar figures. Expected cut-offs for other categories are outlined below:
- General: 95-100 marks
- EWS: 86-90 marks
- OBC: 89-95 marks
- SC: 80-86 marks
- ST: 74-80 marks
Last year, the cut-off stood at 75.41 marks for general category aspirants, with corresponding figures for OBC and EWS being 74.75 and 68.02 marks, respectively.
The official UPSC Prelims cut-off for 2024 has yet to be announced, but expectations are high for an increase based on current assessments.
