Andhra Pradesh Government Introduces Changes in NTR Bharosa Pension Distribution
The Andhra Pradesh government has implemented key changes to the pension distribution process under the NTR Bharosa scheme to streamline operations and minimize inconvenience for both staff and beneficiaries. The revised distribution time will now start at 7:00 AM, a shift from the previous early morning schedule of 4:00 AM or 5:00 AM.
The change comes with modifications to the pension distribution mobile application, which will now only function starting at 7:00 AM. Additionally, if pensions are distributed beyond 300 meters from a beneficiary’s residence, the reason for the deviation must be logged in the system immediately.
To ensure transparency and keep beneficiaries informed, a 20-second audio message will automatically play through the application, conveying important government updates once the beneficiary’s details are recorded.
The new system will be piloted in the Kurnool and Chittoor districts starting on March 1, coinciding with the MLC election code period. After the trial phase, the updated distribution process will be rolled out across the state.
