APSRTC Wins Prestigious SKOCH Award for 2024 for Digital Innovations
The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has once again earned national recognition by receiving the esteemed SKOCH Award for 2024. The award acknowledges the corporation’s continuous efforts in embracing digital transformation and enhancing passenger services.
Announced by the APSRTC Executive Director on Saturday, the corporation’s innovative initiatives were highlighted, including the introduction of cashless transactions via the APSRTC app, the implementation of paperless and digital ticketing systems, and the adoption of a tracking mechanism for all buses within the fleet. These initiatives have significantly improved the convenience and safety of passengers.
At the award ceremony held in Delhi, APSRTC’s Chief Engineer (IT), V. Srinivasa Rao, accepted the award on behalf of Managing Director Dwarka Tirumala Rao. This recognition adds to APSRTC’s list of achievements, as it has previously won the SKOCH Award for its forward-thinking initiatives in the transport sector.
