Folk artist Mogilayya, renowned for his moving performance in the critically acclaimed film Balagam, has passed away. The 63-year-old artist, who had been battling heart and kidney-related health issues for some time, breathed his last on Thursday morning at a private hospital in Warangal. His family confirmed the sad news.
Mogilayya’s health had been deteriorating over the past few weeks, despite receiving support from notable figures in the film industry, including actor Chiranjeevi and Balagam director Venu, who assisted with his treatment. He was later transferred to Sanraksha Hospital in Warangal for further care but succumbed to his ailments.
