Bandi Sanjay Accuses KCR Family of Involvement in Counterfeit Currency Racket
Union Minister Bandi Sanjay has leveled serious allegations against the family of former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). Speaking at an event in Bidar, Karnataka, Sanjay accused a senior leader from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) of owning a printing press in Bidar, where counterfeit currency is allegedly being produced. According to Sanjay, the fake notes were being circulated during political movements and elections.
Sanjay further alleged that the KCR family amassed significant wealth through this counterfeit currency operation, while the state of Telangana has been left burdened with growing debt. He emphasized the negative impact this illicit activity had on the state’s finances.
In his remarks, Bandi Sanjay also noted that in the previous elections, the people of Telangana voted for the Congress party, hoping for a change in leadership. However, he expressed concerns that the state has seen deterioration under Congress rule.
The allegations have raised serious questions about the political landscape in Telangana and have added to the ongoing political discourse between the ruling BRS party and the opposition.
