K. Chandrashekar Rao Asserts BRS is the True Champion of Telangana’s Progress

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) President and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) boldly declared that his party is the only one capable of addressing the struggles of Telangana’s people and fighting for their rights. Speaking at an extended party executive meeting at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad, KCR criticized the Congress government in the state, asserting its failure in bringing substantial progress. He urged party members to remain resolute in their efforts to secure a better future for the people of Telangana.

KCR’s remarks reflected a deep conviction in the BRS’s leadership and vision for the state. He highlighted that, unlike other political parties, BRS genuinely understands the pulse of Telangana and its people’s needs. Emphasizing the party’s unwavering commitment to the region, KCR voiced confidence that BRS would reclaim power, blaming Congress for the state’s stagnation despite the monumental struggle for Telangana’s creation.

“The formation of Telangana was the result of decades of relentless struggle. But under Congress rule, the state has regressed,” KCR stated. He urged party members to reignite the same fighting spirit that led to the formation of Telangana, rallying them to challenge the status quo.

The meeting also focused on strengthening the party’s structure and organization, with discussions surrounding the party’s upcoming silver jubilee celebrations. KCR outlined plans for membership drives, structural committees, and plenary sessions, reflecting BRS’s continuous growth since its inception. As part of these efforts, KCR announced a major public meeting on April 27 to mark the party’s 25th anniversary, with celebrations set to continue throughout the year.

In a move to further streamline the party’s efforts, KCR appointed Harish Rao as the in-charge of the newly-formed committees, signaling a strong push to fortify BRS’s position as the dominant political force in Telangana. With a renewed focus on the party’s ideals and future initiatives, KCR’s leadership promises to continue shaping the state’s political landscape.
