Chiranjeevi Congratulates Padma Awardees, Extends Best Wishes to Honorees
On the occasion of Republic Day, the Government of India announced the prestigious Padma Awards to honor exceptional contributions across various fields. In a heartfelt gesture, renowned actor and megastar Chiranjeevi took to X (formerly Twitter) to congratulate the awardees.
Chiranjeevi lauded Dr. D. Nageshwar Reddy for being selected for the Padma Vibhushan, acknowledging his invaluable contributions to the field of medicine. He also extended his congratulations to actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, Tamil actor Ajith Kumar, veteran Kannada actor Anant Nag, and filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, all of whom were conferred with the Padma Bhushan. The actor also expressed his joy over actress Shobana receiving recognition, recalling their collaboration in the 1988 film Rudraveena.
Chiranjeevi didn’t stop there; he also praised several Padma Shri awardees, including renowned singer Arijit Singh, poet Madugula Nagaphani Sharma, and many others, for their exemplary contributions in their respective fields. “All of them are truly deserving of these honors,” he wrote, commending their dedication and positive impact.
