Chandrababu Naidu Reviews Public Opinion on Government Schemes
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has resumed his governance activities after returning from his business trip to Davos, focusing on assessing public opinion regarding various government schemes and programs. During a comprehensive review, feedback from beneficiaries was collected and analyzed to evaluate the performance of different departments.
The review covered a wide range of schemes, including social pensions, the Deepam scheme, Anna Canteens, free sand supply, paddy procurement, hospital services, and temple facilities. Data was gathered through Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) and other methods, with ten key parameters being the basis for the evaluation.
The findings of the review highlighted a general satisfaction among the beneficiaries, particularly in areas such as pension distribution and paddy procurement. According to the survey, 90.2% of beneficiaries expressed satisfaction with pension distribution, and 89.92% of farmers were happy with the paddy procurement process. Furthermore, 70% of temple-goers were satisfied with the arrangements for darshan.
However, the review also brought attention to areas requiring improvement. Only 35% of individuals were satisfied with the services provided in hospitals, particularly with doctors and staff. Additionally, the survey revealed complaints related to employee negligence and corruption in the implementation of various schemes, raising concerns that need to be addressed by the government.
This review serves as an important step in ensuring the effectiveness of government programs and provides actionable insights to address areas of dissatisfaction and further improve public service delivery.
