Dubai Police Honor Indian Youth for Act of Integrity

A Dubai-based Indian juvenile, Mohammed Ayan Younis, received recognition from the police for his demonstration of integrity by returning a lost watch discovered in a public area.

Mohammed Ayan Younis stumbled upon the lost watch during a stroll with his father and promptly reported it to authorities upon learning of its status as a missing item belonging to a tourist, before departing for his home country.

Subsequently, Mohammed Ayan Younis ensured the safe return of the watch to its rightful owner by delivering it to the Dubai police.

The police successfully reunited the watch with the tourist, who expressed appreciation for the exceptional level of security and honesty upheld in Dubai.

Brigadier Khalfan Obeid Al Jallaf, Director of the Tourist Police Department, joined by other dignitaries, commended Mohammed Ayan Younis for his commendable honesty and presented him with a certificate of appreciation.

Brigadier Al Jallaf underscored the significance of the child’s exemplary conduct, citing it as a reflection of the moral principles and security standards maintained within the UAE, particularly within its vital tourism sector.

He further encouraged community members to draw inspiration from Mohammed Ayan Younis’s ethical example and utilize the lost and found service available at Smart Police Stations (SPS), facilitating the seamless process of reuniting lost belongings with their rightful owners.
