The eagerly awaited exit polls for the Andhra Pradesh elections have delivered overwhelmingly favorable results for the Telugu Desam-JanaSena-BJP alliance.
Forty prominent exit poll agencies released their findings yesterday evening, with 90% of them favoring the Kutami alliance to secure a government formation in Andhra Pradesh.
Among the 40 exit polls, only 5 projected a victory for the YSR Congress (YCP), while the remaining 35 predicted success for the Kutami alliance.
Even those forecasting a YCP victory—such as Aara Mastan, CPS, Partha Das, and Janmat—suggest a closely contested outcome with projections ranging from 97 to 110 seats.
In contrast, agencies like India Today, CNN News, Pioneer, and others have forecasted a landslide victory of 125 to 145 seats for the Kutami alliance. The exit polls clearly indicate a strong polarization in favor of the TDP+ alliance in Andhra Pradesh.
The reputable agency RISE, known for accurately predicting Telangana results, forecasts 120 seats for the Kutami alliance, while limiting YCP’s projection to 49-66 seats.
With 90% of exit polls favoring their alliance, supporters are jubilant and confidently assert that they will form the government in Andhra Pradesh.
