Kannada Actor Darshan Seeks Amenities Amidst Kidnapping and Murder Charges
Kannada actor Darshan is currently facing serious charges of kidnapping and murdering his fan, Renukaswamy. Despite the gravity of the accusations, Darshan has made specific requests regarding his conditions of confinement. On Ganesh Chaturthi, the jail authorities accommodated his request by installing a 32-inch television in his cell. The actor had expressed a desire to stay informed about current events and maintain a connection with the outside world.
In addition to the television, Darshan requested a surgical chair, citing difficulty using the Indian toilet facilities available in his cell. The authorities also granted his request to make phone calls, facilitating his communication from prison.
Furthermore, an amount of 35,000 rupees was deposited into Darshan’s private account, from which he has spent 735 rupees on tea and coffee from the jail canteen.
Darshan, along with his partner Pavithra Gowda and 15 others, faces legal repercussions related to the kidnapping and murder case. The case continues to unfold as the actor navigates these legal challenges.
