Janhvi Kapoor Visits Muppathamman Temple Ahead of ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ Release
Mumbai: In anticipation of the release of her upcoming film, ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi,’ actress Janhvi Kapoor visited the Muppathamman temple, a cherished location for her and her late mother, actress Sridevi, in Chennai.
Janhvi shared a series of photos from her temple visit on Instagram. In the images, she is seen wearing a floral lehenga and sporting a simple look with beach wave hair.
“Visited Muppathamman temple for the first time. Mumma’s most favourite place to visit in Chennai,” Janhvi wrote in the caption.
Actor Varun Dhawan commented humorously on her post, writing, “Masi whose actually your sister.”
Janhvi Kapoor is the daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and the late actress Sridevi, who tragically passed away in an accidental drowning in Dubai in 2018. Janhvi’s sister, Khushi Kapoor, recently made her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies.’
‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ tells the story of an imperfectly perfect couple, united by their mutual love for cricket, who marry in an arranged setup.
Janhvi Kapoor is also set to make her Telugu debut this year with ‘Devara: Chapter 1,’ starring Jr NTR. In addition to ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi,’ her forthcoming film slate includes ‘Ulajh’ and ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.’
