Atlee Teases Exciting Collaboration with Shreya Ghoshal and Thaman S for ‘Baby John’
Mumbai: Acclaimed Tamil director Atlee, who gained significant recognition for his recent blockbuster Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan, has sparked excitement among fans with a new collaboration featuring renowned singer Shreya Ghoshal and music director Thaman S.
Taking to Instagram, Atlee shared a snapshot from a recording studio, where he was seen with Ghoshal and Thaman, captioning the photo, “Omg my fav singer for fav track in babyjohn.” This post hints at a forthcoming major update related to the upcoming action-thriller film Baby John.
The image suggests that the project could feature either a romantic ballad or an energetic party anthem, keeping fans eager for more details. Thaman S echoed the excitement by resharing Atlee’s post and remarking, “What a team. What a Film.”
Baby John marks another ambitious venture for Atlee in Bollywood, although he is not directing this project. Following the phenomenal success of Jawan, this film presents a significant opportunity for Atlee to produce high-budget productions.
Starring Varun Dhawan, the film also features Telugu actress Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi, with a special cameo by superstar Salman Khan. Directed by Kalees, Baby John is produced by Atlee, Murad Khetani, and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of A for Apple Productions, Cine1 Studios, and Jio Studios.
Set for a theatrical release on December 25, 2024, Baby John is a remake of the 2016 blockbuster Theri, which originally starred Thalapathy Vijay alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Amy Jackson. The original film’s music was composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu under V Creations.
