Kejriwal Challenges PM Modi on Free Electricity for NDA States

In a bold move, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal has challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to implement free electricity in all states ruled by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) before the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Speaking at a public gathering dubbed ‘Janta Ki Adalat,’ Kejriwal expressed his willingness to campaign for the BJP if the Prime Minister meets this demand.

Kejriwal criticized the effectiveness of the BJP’s “double engine” governance model, claiming it has led to failures and corruption in various states. He predicts significant political losses for the BJP in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing that exit polls suggest a collapse of their governance in these regions.

“The exit polls show the BJP’s double engine governments will soon collapse in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir,” Kejriwal stated, underscoring his confidence in an impending political shift.

Further addressing public concerns, Kejriwal accused the BJP of being anti-poor, highlighting recent decisions such as the removal of bus marshals and data entry operators, as well as the suspension of salaries for home guards in Delhi. “There is no democracy in Delhi. It’s under the LG’s rule,” he lamented, criticizing the central government’s control over the capital.

As the political landscape heats up ahead of the elections, Kejriwal’s challenge places the spotlight on the BJP’s policies and governance, raising questions about their commitment to welfare initiatives in the states they govern.
