K.T. Rama Rao to Appear Before ACB in Formula E Investigation; ED Summons Scheduled for January 7
Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) is set to appear before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today, January 6, at 10 a.m. in connection with the ongoing investigation into the Formula E car race case. This appearance follows a notice issued by the ACB, which has asked KTR to present himself for questioning as part of the probe into the matter.
KTR had previously approached the Telangana High Court, seeking the dismissal of the case filed against him. While the court reserved its judgment, it also instructed the authorities not to arrest KTR until the verdict is delivered. However, the investigation into the case is permitted to continue, which led to the issuance of the ACB notice for his appearance.
In addition to the ACB questioning, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also summoned KTR for questioning in the same case. The ED has scheduled his appearance for January 7.
Meanwhile, two co-accused individuals in the case, BLN Reddy and Aravind Kumar, who were initially set to appear before the ED on January 2 and 3, respectively, requested more time for their statements. The ED has granted them a week’s extension, allowing them to reschedule their appearances for later in the month.
The ongoing investigation into the Formula E car race case has drawn significant attention, with high-profile political figures like K.T. Rama Rao being called in for questioning. The developments are being closely followed by both political observers and the public, as the case continues to unfold.
