Dasara Shines at Filmfare Awards with Six Wins, Including Best Actor for Nani
In a remarkable showcase of cinematic achievement, Natural Star Nani’s film Dasara emerged as a major force at the Filmfare Awards, securing accolades in six prestigious categories.
Nani’s compelling portrayal in Dasara earned him the Best Actor award, a testament to his extraordinary range and depth, which captivated both critics and audiences alike. Keerthy Suresh also shone brightly, receiving the Best Actress award for her outstanding performance.
Director Srikanth Odela made history by becoming the first debut director to win a Filmfare Award and achieve a 100+ crore gross with his inaugural film. The film’s technical brilliance was further recognized with awards in cinematography for Sathyan Sooryan, production design for Avinash Kolla, and choreography for Prem Rakshit Master.
Nani celebrated these achievements by announcing his intention to frame the award cards, honoring the efforts of his Dasara director Srikanth Odela and his Hi Nanna director Shouryuv.
