New Delhi: NCW Chief Calls for Strict Action Against CISF Constable in Incident Involving BJP MP Kangana Ranaut
Rekha Sharma, the Chairperson of the National Commission for Women (NCW), emphasized the need for strict action against a CISF constable who allegedly slapped newly elected BJP MP Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh Airport.
According to officials, the constable has been suspended, and a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against her. The incident reportedly occurred while Ranaut was en route to Delhi.
Sharma highlighted the gravity of the situation, stating that those responsible for airport security are failing in their duties. “Strict action should be taken against the lady CISF personnel. We at @NCWIndia have taken up this matter with @CISFHQrs,” Sharma posted on X.
